Hygiëne-inspectie volgens jouw hygiënecode
Food safety is important in every industry that handles food. Whether you operate in the hospitality industry, healthcare, retail, or other industries, it is crucial that your food is safe.
We help you to ensure your food safety is in line with the guidelines that apply. During unannounced hygiene inspections, our inspectors assess how far your organisation complies with the hygiene code, and we follow up with practical advice on how to improve food safety. We also help you qualify for the Food Safety Quality Mark.
Is there no suitable hygiene code available for your organisation? Then we will set up a customised food safety system for you. This allows us to carry out an expert inspection.
How do we conduct hygiene inspections?
If you hire us for a hygiene inspection, the process is as follows:
1. We will meet you on site. We would like to hear what your needs are. For instance, would you prefer regular inspections or would you like to obtain a quality mark? We will also assess how many audits are needed and, of course, tell you more about who we are and how we work.
2. During the introductory meeting, we will carry out a baseline measurement, looking at the current situation and what areas need improvement. You can then get started on this right away.
3. After that, unannounced audits (hygiene inspections) will take place. We agree in advance how many audits are needed—often 4–6 per year. If you are aiming for a quality mark, you may need more.
4. After each audit, you will receive a comprehensive report providing information on the status of food safety within your organisation. You can also demonstrate your efforts to guests or clients and to the NVWA.
5. If you consistently meet the necessary requirements and achieve a good score in our inspections, you may be eligible for the Food Safety Quality Mark. The advantage of this is that the NVWA will require fewer inspections.
Food safety certification
As part of our services, we can also help you obtain the Food Safety Quality Mark. This means you will be covered by the Food Safety Checkpoint programme. You are eligible for this quality mark if your food safety is structurally under control.
After obtaining this quality mark, your organisation will be subject to reduced supervision by the NVWA. Our inspectors can carry out hygiene checks, always followed up by a comprehensive inspection report. This way, you know exactly to what extent you comply with the guidelines and what areas for improvement there may be.
Does your organisation work with an industry-specific hygiene code? Even then, you can still obtain the Food Safety Quality Mark. In this case, you must demonstrate through hygiene audits that you are working in accordance with the applicable rules. Naturally, during the audits, we will specifically check all the points that apply to your industry.
Demonstrate food safety to the outside world
Another advantage of the Food Safety Quality Mark is that it inspires confidence in your guests, clients, and employees. If you obtain the quality mark, your organization or company will be listed on the NVWA website with the following statement: “complies, based on inspections by an accepted private inspection agency.”
You will also receive the quality mark logos from us and are permitted to display these on your door or facade and on your website. This allows you to demonstrate to guests and employees that you comply with the food safety regulations that apply within your industry.
Curious about the quality mark protocol? Feel free to request it from us!
Practical training courses on food safety
We also offer training courses. These courses teach you how to follow the hygiene code as closely as possible using the correct processes. Our training courses are practical and interactive, and always tailored to your organisation.
We also offer a useful e-learning course on food safety. In just three hours, your employees will learn how to work with food safely, in accordance with HACCP rules. We also offer an e-learning course on allergens to teach your employees how to work with allergens safely.
