Chemical and microbiological testing
Do you want or need to ensure that your products are food safe? We can test your products in our own laboratory, including chemical, sensory, and microbiological testing. Our inspectors collect the samples themselves and ensure that the laboratory tests them for all relevant safety and quality factors.
Thanks to our nationwide coverage, we are always ready to support you quickly, even for urgent or repeat sampling. You will see your results online immediately afterwards.
Accreditation and 60 years of experience
We are proud that Eurofins Bureau de Wit has been a household name in food safety for 60 years. We always carry out our chemical or microbiological testing in a Eurofins laboratory that is ISO/IEC 17025 accredited by the Dutch Accreditation Council (RvA) and registered under number L154.
Fast laboratory testing, always possible
In principle, we schedule product testing based on your sampling schedule or the advice of our consultants, but sometimes it is important that testing takes place quickly. That is no problem at all for us. With nationwide coverage, there is always an inspector nearby who can quickly schedule urgent or repeat sampling.
Even more handy: your results are immediately available via our online dashboard after release.
Microbiological testing
If you are in need of microbiological testing, we can test your food products for many factors in our own laboratory, including:
- We can check the shelf life and the food safety of products.
- We test food for the presence of pathogenic bacteria, such as Salmonella, Listeria, and E. coli (STEC).
- We examine product samples and surface tests to confirm our food safety inspections.
Chemical testing
Our hygiene and food safety services don’t stop at microbiological testing. We also carry out chemical testing. This includes nutritional value and allergen testing so that you can accurately list nutritional values and allergens on your product, preventing misinformation.
We also test products for the presence of toxins, pesticides, heavy metals, and more.
